I am a guitar player, composer, and music professor born in the city of Tandil, Buenos Aires, Argentina. I studied at the Conservatorio de Música Isaías Orbe. Throughout my career, I have incorporated different rhythms and styles of Argentinian and Latin American music, as well as some world music. I currently live in Munich, Germany.
Discography
Serendipia is the first musical collaboration of Diego Romero and Naoufal Montassere. The album consists exclusively of original compositions by the two guitarists and was recorded in Berlin in 2021. Thereby it comes to a meeting of different cultural as well as musical influences.
Popular chamber quintet founded in 2017 by young Argentinian musicians interested in the creation of a new repertoire and compositions that combine folklorical root music with other expressions such as tango, jazz and academic music. Awarded with the First Prize in Folk Music Work Composition, they release their first disc “Para un Comienzo”.
